We believe that artists have a right to sound great when they play, and the sound system is very much an extension of their performance.  Even a fantastic artist can sound bad with poor mixing and poor gear.  The soundsystem colours a performance quality more than anything else – as its simply what makes the music.

Normally its left to the sound engineer to sort out, where his job is to not only mix the band, but also to correct for the deficiencies of the audio system.  This is a double edged responsibility, as its hard to tell if it’s the band or the sound system that’s being corrected.

Why is it so often overlooked?  Because there is no noticeable difference between competing systems.  We are here to change that.

Artists can now sound amazing, with singing that makes your hairs on your back of your neck stand up, drums that actually sound like drums and instruments that are perfectly reproduced through the speakers with all their harmonics.

When you sound great, the audience enjoys your music so much more, and there is a real ‘vibe’ to the gig.  We have seen this time and again, which is why we passionately believe that with Opus you will have better performances – and you will hear the difference.
